Pokémon x Santa Cruz: Trading Card Classics Meet Skateboard Decks

The anticipation of opening a Pokémon pack is coming to skateboarding. Santa Cruz and Pokémon TCG have teamed up for a limited edition blind bag deck collection celebrating 30 years of Pokémon, and the reveal is part of the fun.

Whether you grew up trading cards, still collect today or want something different for your next setup, this release brings those worlds together.

Australian Release Dates & Times

The Santa Cruz x Pokémon TCG collection officially drops on Saturday, 17 October 2026. Due to daylight saving time, the release times vary across Australia.

Here's when you can get your hands on the collection:

VIC, NSW, ACT & TAS: 12:00 AM (Midnight), Sunday 18 October

SA: 11:30 PM, Saturday 17 October

QLD: 11:00 PM, Saturday 17 October

NT: 10:30 PM, Saturday 17 October

WA: 9:00 PM, Saturday 17 October

For our Melbourne customers, the collection goes live online at midnight on Sunday, 18 October!

30 designs. One surprise inside.

Each sealed blind bag contains one randomly selected 8-inch skateboard deck, featuring artwork from one of 30 Pokémon Trading Card Game cards.

Santa Cruz has paired the original card artwork with new deck graphics inspired by the Pokémon, their Energy types and the cards themselves. You won’t know which design you’ve landed until you open the bag.

Think booster pack excitement, on a much bigger scale.

The gold chase variants

Alongside the 30 main designs are three glitter gold foil chase variants, featuring collages of Pokémon TCG cards from around the world.

Each gold variant is limited to 500 decks worldwide. They’re randomly packed, so a gold deck is a possible surprise rather than a guaranteed purchase.

Every blind bag deck also comes with a limited edition Pokémon Player’s Guide booklet showcasing all 30 designs and the three chase variants.

Skate it or display it?

That’s the decision. Build it into your next setup, hang it alongside your favourite decks or make it the centrepiece of your Pokémon collection.

Just remember: these are skateboard decks, so trucks, wheels and the rest of your setup are separate.
