HOCKEY IV
The raw, unpolished aesthetic of Hockey IV—paired with its off-kilter editing - has stirred plenty of chatter in the skate community. Some fans see it as a bold shift from director Benny Maglinao’s earlier style, while others are here for the chaos. What’s not up for debate, though, is the skating. Diego Todd comes through with an explosive part that hits hard, and Cruise Mosberg’s section has people calling it “mental” for all the right reasons. As for Nik Stain, his extended part is splitting opinions—some say it runs long, others argue it adds much-needed weight and texture to the whole piece.
